Economics End of Course Test

Community Awareness Seminar October 25 in Duke Auditorium
The program will begin at 7 pm and it will be organized and run by SMHS students. Students from the middle schools should be in the 8th grade - topics will include texting while driving (which is graphic in nature). (Posted 10/17/11)

Picture Retake Day will be Wednesday, October 19
All underclassmen that have not had their picture taken need to have their picture taken on that day for ID purposes and for yearbook.
Also seniors will have an opportunity to have their SENIOR PORTRAIT made on that day if they were unable to go to the LifeTouch studio. Drapes and Tuxes will be provided for those senior students not yet been photographed by LifeTouch. (posted 10/6/11)
New automatic notifications from the Attendance Office
We are piloting the new Voice Messenger feature in Infinite Campus. We will utilize this program to inform parents by email and phone regarding attendance. When your student is marked absent or tardy you will receive an e-mail and phone call from Starr's Mill High School stating that your child has been marked as absent or tardy.
Home phone numbers are opt-in by default; however, you can change these settings by logging into your Portal account and modifying the settings for each phone number in User Account > Contact Preferences. We encourage you to log into Parent Portal and update your contact information.
