Starr's Mill High School named AP Merit School
SMHS was one of two schools in the county to win this award indicating at least 20 percent of students taking AP exams, and at least half of the AP exams scoring a 3 or higher. SMHS was also listed as an AP STEM and AP STEM Achievement school for participation and performance in AP Math and Science classes. (posted 2/7/12)

2012 Girls Night Out Basketball Showcase
January 20-21, 2012
Starr's Mill High School will host 19 teams from 5 states. 2012 Game Schedule
6 of these teams are defending state champions and 4 are currently nationally ranked teams.
All proceeds go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund

Georgia Student Health Survey
Parents, all of our students are scheduled to participate in the Georgia Student Health Survey between January 17 and January 27. This survey is administered by the State Department of Education as part of our requirements to fulfill the Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Act.
